CRE Veteran Greg Pearson Joins Outpost as Chief Investment Officer

AUSTIN, TX and SEATTLE, WA, September 1, 2026 – Outpost (outpost.us), a national truck terminal owner, operator, and automation company, today announced that Greg Pearson has joined the company as Chief Investment Officer. In this role, Pearson leads the company’s real estate investment strategy, acquisition of logistics infrastructure, and leasing efforts.

Pearson previously served as Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group, where he launched the firm’s industrial real estate business across North America and Europe. Over his career, Pearson has invested over $5 billion in value add industrial transactions, with a focus on transportation logistics. He has spent the entirety of his career in the industrial sector, working at CenterPoint and Exeter before Fortress. In a prior role at CBRE Capital Markets, he was part of a team involved in over $10 billion of industrial dispositions. Pearson received an MBA from Columbia Business School and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.

“Joining Outpost as CIO is an incredible opportunity — the portfolio the team has already built reflects real discipline and vision, and I’m thrilled to build on that foundation,” Pearson said. “With a career centered on industrial real estate and the last decade in transportation, I see enormous opportunity in sharpening our strategy specifically at the intersection of freight and e-commerce corridors. Put simply, it’s about barbelling the first and final mile in the right geographies. I look forward to working with our team and partners to capture that opportunity together.”

“Greg and I first connected nearly four years ago, in the earliest days of Outpost, and he’s helped sharpen our thinking about this asset class ever since,” said Trent Cameron, Outpost cofounder and CEO. “He brings deep expertise investing in transportation infrastructure and a strong understanding of the customers who depend on these assets. As we scale the platform, his experience will be critical in how we deploy capital, grow our portfolio, and build Outpost into the leading owner and operator of freight infrastructure.”

In September 2025, Outpost and GreenPoint, a real assets investment firm, announced additional capital that doubled the scale of their logistics infrastructure platform to $1 billion. The vertically integrated platform combines physical sites, operations, and technology into a national network of assets that enable fleets to scale more efficiently and reduce costs.
